G-Conf ("we", "us") is an independent, non-commercial project providing low-cost academic conference management tools built on Google infrastructure. This policy explains what information we collect through the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
G-Conf（以下稱「我們」）是一個獨立、非營利的專案，提供以 Google 基礎架構為核心的低成本學術研討會管理工具。本政策說明我們透過本服務蒐集哪些資訊、如何使用這些資訊，以及您所擁有的選擇。
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address, display name, and a unique account identifier from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
帳號資訊。當您使用 Google 帳戶登入時，我們會取得您 Google 帳戶的電子郵件地址、顯示名稱，以及 Google 提供的唯一帳號識別碼。我們不會取得或儲存您的 Google 密碼。
Google Drive access. If you are a conference host, you may connect Google Drive to store manuscript files. We request the drive.file scope only — this limits our access strictly to files our app itself creates or that you explicitly select through Google's own file picker. We cannot see, list, or access any other file in your Drive.

Gmail access. If you are a conference host, you may connect Gmail so the Service can send conference-related notifications (e.g. review invitations, decisions, announcements) from your own address. We request the gmail.send scope only, which lets us send email as you — it does not allow us to read your inbox, contacts, or any other Gmail data.

Short-lived Drive tokens used to submit or pick a manuscript file are requested at the moment you use that feature, used once, and are never stored in your browser or in our database. Only the long-lived Drive/Gmail authorizations a conference host explicitly connects are stored, and only on our servers — never sent to your browser.

Conference content. Depending on your role, the Service stores information you or others provide directly: conference details, manuscript metadata and version history, review assignments and review content, editorial decisions, reviewer and author contact details used for conference operations, announcements, and related operational records (e.g. audit logs of administrative actions, delivery logs for emails we send on a host's behalf).
研討會內容。依您的角色不同，本服務會儲存您或其他人直接提供的資訊：研討會詳細資料、投稿詮釋資料與版本歷程、審查指派與審查內容、編務決定、用於研討會運作的審查者與作者聯絡資訊、公告，以及相關的營運紀錄（例如管理操作的稽核紀錄、代表主辦人寄送郵件的送達紀錄）。
How we use information. We use the information above solely to operate the Service: authenticating you, running the submission and peer-review workflow, sending the notifications a conference host configures, generating exports a host requests, and enforcing reasonable operational limits (e.g. daily email volume) to keep the Service usable for everyone.

Google Limited Use disclosure. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained through Google Drive or Gmail scopes to serve advertisements, and we do not sell, rent, or transfer this data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the conference-management features described in this policy, to comply with law, or with your explicit consent.
Google 有限使用揭露。我們對於透過 Google API 取得之資料的使用與傳輸，遵循 Google API 服務使用者資料政策，包含其中的有限使用規範。我們不會將透過 Google Drive 或 Gmail 權限範圍取得的資料用於投放廣告，亦不會將這些資料出售、出租或轉讓予第三方，除非是為了提供本政策所述之研討會管理功能所必要、為遵守法律規定，或經您明確同意。
Sharing within a conference. Submission and review information is shared only with the specific roles that need it to operate the conference: conference hosts and directors can see submissions and editorial status; reviewers see only the manuscripts assigned to them, with author identity hidden when a conference enables anonymous review. The platform administrator has no general visibility into conference content — access beyond suspension/restoration controls requires a separate, time-limited, audited grant scoped to specific operational surfaces, and explicitly excludes manuscripts, review content, and decisions.
研討會內部的資訊分享。投稿與審查資訊僅會分享給運作研討會所需的特定角色：研討會主辦人與執行主管可檢視投稿與編務狀態；審查者僅能檢視指派給自己的稿件，若研討會啟用匿名審查，作者身分將被隱藏。平台管理員對研討會內容沒有一般性的檢視權限——除暫停／復原控制項外，任何額外存取都需要另外申請限時、受稽核、且僅限於特定營運介面的授權，並明確排除稿件、審查內容與決定。
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this Service.
我們不會出售您的個人資訊，本服務也不使用第三方廣告或分析追蹤工具。
Data storage and location. The Service runs entirely on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase Hosting, Cloud Run, and Firestore), currently hosted in the United States (us-central1). By using the Service, you understand your information will be processed in that region.
資料儲存與所在位置。本服務完全運行於 Google Cloud 基礎架構之上（Firebase Hosting、Cloud Run 與 Firestore），目前的主機位置位於美國（us-central1）。使用本服務即表示您理解您的資訊將於該地區進行處理。
Account deletion. You may delete your account at any time from the account menu in the top-right corner of any page. Deleting your account revokes any Google Drive and Gmail authorizations you granted, permanently deletes your G-Conf profile and all conference role memberships, and deletes your sign-in identity. Submissions, reviews, and editorial decisions you contributed while participating in a conference remain part of that conference's record and are not deleted or anonymized by this action — this preserves the integrity of the shared academic record for the conference's organizers and other participants. If you host a conference that has not yet reached its final, completed state (through export and cleanup), you cannot delete your account until that conference reaches that state, so a conference is never left without anyone able to manage it.
刪除帳號。您可以隨時透過任一頁面右上角的帳號選單刪除您的帳號。刪除帳號會撤銷您已授予的 Google Drive 與 Gmail 授權、永久刪除您的 G-Conf 個人資料與所有研討會角色成員資格，並刪除您的登入身分。您在參與研討會期間貢獻的投稿、審查意見與編務決定，仍會保留在該研討會的紀錄中，不會因此操作而被刪除或匿名化——這是為了維護該研討會主辦方與其他參與者共同仰賴的學術紀錄完整性。若您是某研討會的主辦人，且該研討會尚未進入最終完成狀態（匯出與清理），在該研討會進入該狀態前，您將無法刪除帳號，以確保研討會不會因此變成無人能夠管理。
Your choices. You may review and correct your display name through your Google account. You may disconnect Drive or Gmail access at any time through your Google account's third-party access settings, in addition to the in-app deletion described above.
您的選擇。您可以透過您的 Google 帳戶檢視並更正您的顯示名稱。除了上述應用程式內的刪除功能外，您也可以隨時透過 Google 帳戶的第三方存取權限設定，中斷 Drive 或 Gmail 的連結授權。
Children's privacy. The Service is intended for use by researchers, conference organizers, and reviewers, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
兒童隱私。本服務係供研究人員、研討會主辦方與審查者使用，並非針對兒童設計。我們不會在知情的情況下蒐集 13 歲以下兒童的個人資訊。
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
