1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of G-Conf (the "Service"), operated as an independent, non-commercial project by its maintainers (the "operator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

   本服務條款（下稱「本條款」）規範您對 G-Conf（下稱「本服務」）的使用，本服務由其維運者（下稱「維運者」或「我們」）以獨立、非營利專案的形式營運。當您建立帳號或使用本服務，即表示您同意本條款。

2. The Service. G-Conf provides free, Google-Drive-centric tools for managing academic conference submission, peer review, editorial decisions, and related communications. The Service is provided free of charge, with a particular aim of remaining accessible to researchers and conferences in under-resourced regions.

   本服務內容。G-Conf 提供以 Google Drive 為核心的免費工具，用於管理學術研討會的投稿、同儕審查、編務決定與相關通訊。本服務為免費提供，特別著重於維持資源相對匱乏地區的研究人員與研討會皆能負擔使用。

3. Accounts. You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that Google account and for all activity that occurs under it. Every action taken through the Service is authorized and checked against your account's actual role — what the interface displays is a convenience, not the source of your permissions.

   帳號。您必須以有效的 Google 帳戶登入才能使用本服務。您應自行負責維護該 Google 帳戶的安全，並對其名下發生的所有活動負責。透過本服務執行的每一項操作，均會依您帳號實際擁有的角色進行授權與檢查——介面上顯示的內容僅為方便呈現，並非權限的最終依據。

4. Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Service to upload unlawful content, infringe others' intellectual property or academic integrity, harass other users, circumvent access controls, or interfere with the Service's normal operation (including automated scraping or attempts to exceed the Service's operational limits).

   使用規範。您同意不會利用本服務上傳違法內容、侵害他人之智慧財產權或學術誠信、騷擾其他使用者、規避存取控制機制，或干擾本服務之正常運作（包含自動化爬取或試圖超出本服務之營運限制）。

5. Your content. You retain ownership of the manuscripts, reviews, and other content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant the operator and the relevant conference's organizers the limited right to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the submission and review workflow you are participating in.

   您的內容。您透過本服務提交的投稿、審查意見及其他內容，其權利仍歸您所有。提交內容即表示您授予維運者及相關研討會主辦方有限之權利，得為運作您所參與之投稿與審查流程所必要之目的，儲存、處理、傳輸並顯示該內容。

6. Conference organizer responsibility. Conference hosts and directors are solely responsible for their own conference's academic policies, deadlines, reviewer selection, and editorial decisions. The Service is a tool that supports these processes; it is not a party to, and does not adjudicate, any academic or editorial decision made by a conference's organizers.

   研討會主辦方之責任。研討會主辦人與執行主管應自行對其研討會之學術政策、截止時間、審查者選任與編務決定負完全責任。本服務僅為支援上述流程之工具，並非研討會主辦方所作任何學術或編務決定之當事人，亦不對其進行裁決。

7. No warranty. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted availability. As a free, independently operated project, we do not guarantee any particular level of uptime or support.

   不提供擔保。本服務係以「現狀」及「現有」之狀態提供，不附帶任何明示或默示之擔保，包含不中斷之可用性。作為一個免費、獨立營運的專案，我們不保證任何特定程度的正常運行時間或支援服務。

8. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data, submissions, or academic opportunities.

   責任限制。在法律允許之最大範圍內，維運者對於因您使用或無法使用本服務所生之任何間接、附隨或衍生性損害，均不負賠償責任，包含資料、投稿內容或學術機會之損失。

9. Termination. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend a conference or restrict access where necessary to investigate a suspected policy violation or protect the Service's integrity; such actions are logged and audited, and do not grant visibility into manuscript, review, or decision content.

   終止使用。您可依隱私權政策所述，隨時停止使用本服務並刪除您的帳號。若有必要調查疑似違反政策之情事，或為保護本服務之完整性，我們得暫停研討會或限制存取；此類操作將被記錄並接受稽核，且不會因此取得稿件、審查內容或決定之檢視權限。

10. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

    本條款之修訂。我們可能因服務內容變動而更新本條款。若有重大變更，將會反映在本頁頂端的生效日期上。變更後持續使用本服務，即視為您同意經修訂之條款。

11. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

    準據法。本條款之解釋與適用，以中華民國（臺灣）法律為準據法，不適用其法律衝突原則之規定。因本條款或本服務所生之任何爭議，應以中華民國（臺灣）法院為管轄法院。
